It seems that a version of Windows 10 lite is already out. I wanted to post this to warn people that it is NOT supported by Microsoft. But a Windows 10 Lite is a good idea. When I think of Windows 95, 98SE, XP, & 7 I think of OS's that you build on. But if 10 Lite comes with as many preinstalled apps as Baskin Robbin's has flavors of ice cream & still has all the telemetry & snooping with it - why bother. I also find it interesting that Microsoft is getting rid of their Edge browser. At least getting rid of it as we know it. They're switching to using the open source Chromium. I assume it will be Chromium with an Edge interface. Microsoft using open source code?

All over the US in public school systems at the grade school, middle school, and even high school levels, Google Chrome-Books are dislodging Apple and MS both from their entrenched traditional institutional positions. Many schools run the entire curriculum via Chrome Books. MS is just taking a shot at its lost institutional market share.
