Receive the below error when I boot up and when Messenger for Desktop receives a message. I delete all gifs in messages, installed a couple of missing dependencies by Synaptic, and looked unsuccessfully for a way to turn off Java in Messenger for Desktop. Help fixing this problem will be appreciated.

Please contact the developer and report the bug. Cheers.
OK. This is a Messenger for Desktop bug?  :-\
Thanks [member=2]Jerry[/member] , I posted too but it did not show up. Since it is a Messenger for Desktop and there have been several reports, maybe it will be fixed.
You need an account to post there. Unlikely to be fixed, read my posts there. You should look for an alternative now.
Not sure where I posted the bug now. Maybe wrong site.  ;D I'll try: 'The error disappears disabling the option "check for update automaticaly" in the app menu.' posted on the site you linked to.
