Welcome! I think you'll find LL super simple, especially for novices coming from Windows. Several of us think it's more newbie-friendly than other distros aimed specifically at Windows users (Zorin, Mint, etc). BONUS: Awesome on very modest hardware.
There's an old axiom in Linux, as I'm sure you know, that ease of use is a trade-off: Speed is sacrificed for "user-friendliness." Linux Lite defies that old paradigm and completely disproves it!
