Deja Dup could not back up the following files.

/home/coastie/.gvfs
/home/coastie/.local/share/gvfs-metadata/home

I can open .gvfs as root only and nothing is there. I cannot open the second file.

I had a similar problem before solved by [member=6629]ralphy[/member] http://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/other/.../#msg31049

What are these files? Should delete them or just tell Deja Dup ignore them too?

Thanks [member=411]bitsnpcs[/member]. I get the general idea of what these files are from the links. I think new ones are created at each boot so there is no need to back them up and they shouldn't be deleted?  :-\

Yes you are correct, there is no need to back it up, or delete it.
If there were a problem with it, there are ways to delete it, and reasons why this would be done here -
