I hope Linux Lite still aims at keeping older hardware running well. While it's definitely awesome for new users coming from Windows and Mac, a lot of us came to Linux to begin with because Windows or Mac upgrades became too much for our ageing - but perfectly good - hardware. Hence the word Lite in our the name. I came here from Xubuntu because even it was becoming too much of a resource hog on my old 32-bit machine.
Unfortunately there will be no more 32bit LL (other than 3.8). There are enough distros out there that will cater to low end machines. Ok, they won't do it the LL way, but you still have options. That's the beauty of linux.
There's lots of time left on LL 3.x, so no hurry. And I'm also sure it will still be LITE even when 64-bit is all there is. I have been gifted with a sweet 4GB 64-bit machine that is currently running a heavily modified Linux Mint Xfce 18 OS. It may become a Linux Lite machine if and (probably) when Mint Xfce becomes too much for it.
In the meantime I remain a rabid Linux Lite OS fanboy for those 32-bit machines!

I'm really sorry if someone misunderstood my words. I was simply trying to understand and I think I did, still have some questions unaswered but I'm confident that with some reading I'll find some answers.

If I don't reply to some threads, it's because I want people to go on a search and discovery journey on their own. This is a good habit to practice because it teaches people not to take what they are told as gospel. I get asked a lot of questions, and what I try to do at the very least is give people a starting point. Research should be done by you, not for you.

anyway i liked what you wrote in the main post about WHATS LINUXLITE that i decided to translate it and write it in arabic section ,(but i guess i will do this when I have spare time)
