Hi all, I would like to turn off my swap permanently. I'm using an SSD and have more than enough RAM. Using /etc/fstab which line do I delete?
10 and 11 or just 11? Pic of my swap partition:

Thanks ^_^
Sorry to bump this but, I want to be sure I don't delete the wrong line and it won't boot up again

Hello T1125P
In this case you don't need to delete, just put a hash character "#" in front of line 11, save and reboot.
Thanks so much Scott I will do that now

I just got a "new to me" laptop as a gratitude gift from a coworker. It has a 120GB SSD and 4 GB of RAM. Since the SSD isn't that large, I questioned whether I should run a SWAP partition. But I've heard that you need SWAP in order to Hibernate/Sleep successfully. I did create a 4GB SWAP partition, and I've never had Hibernate/Sleep work so well. The computer is a Lenovo Thinkpad x250.
