Can you go to Menu>All>Firewall Configuration look under tabs Rules.
Is it blank/empty page ?
Edit -
I cannot look at that link at the moment.
Do you mean you downloaded the update manager and it is based on Linux Mint ?
It may be why it is not on the 3.4 in VirtualBox I used, as I only d/l the official etc, from Menu>Favorites>Install Updates
Edit 2 -
Ram is checked, do you have a sync tester, or a friend with it ?
Sync test - to stress the machines hardware and make the report of it, any faults.

I dont have a clue what t can be. I uninstalled the update manager, noting. Compacted thunderbird database notting.
Memory passed test, so now going to have a look to see if the cpu is ok, starting to get a feeling that the old girl is running on 1 cylinder instead of 2

Menu>System>System Information>Devices>Processor
Would it show the cores even if it is not working, eg it shows the statistic/specs, or does it show it the cores live and only if working ?
Is there a way to test the cores, something like Memtest86 but for a cpu ?
Can it be fixed by the paste/ reseat cpu, or that would be the cpu inside itself and cannot be fixed ?

What websites do you have open in the tabs when it goes slow?
08-17-2017, 03:03 PM
Most of the time its forums, or news sites. No heavy sites with lots of photos or things like that.
This is the average load with 12 tabs opening.
theo@Lenovo-B50-30:~$ uptime
17:01:02 up 1:09, 1 user, load average: 1,80, 0,84, 0,55

Yes, but what sites. You can screenshot them instead of typing them if you like. I need to know the sites.
