About an hour or so ago, I used the Lite Upgrade option to upgrade to 3.4 from 3.0. Towards the end of the process and after reboot, the System Information and Update Status box at the bottom left corner of the desktop was there and it did read [b]Linux Lite 3.4[/b], then at some point it was gone. I rebooted but it still has not reappeared.

How can I get it back please?

Anyone? Any suggestion(s)?

I don't want to reinstall if I don't have to because I have to use Plop on a floppy disk and gosh -it's painful; so I would really appreciate some help here, please.

Do you mean the Lite Widget?

Thanks very much, Ralphy. I got it done. .  Believe it or not, I couldn't recall that it's called a widget -or I may never have known in the first place.
