Sorry for being so novice, but I need to install linux lite FF Multi Converter or similar. I appreciate the help.

here are the instructions to download FF Multi Converter, click download tab on link.

It tells me a message that I should close "update manager", "aptitude" or "synaptic" but I do not have anything open or closed.

Click the link .

1. Select Download tab

2. Select download file page link

3. Click to begin .deb download

4. Choose "Open With", "GDebi Package Installer (default)", from drop down menu

5. Click "Install Package"

Yes, I have followed those exact steps but will not let me install it, I will see if I can capture the error and I can send it to you

Select of results those with IMG tags at begging and end, select by x2 left click, copy/paste code into reply.

After completion retry install procedure

As you can see you have 24 packages missing I have 9 missing, one of these 15 missing maybe can cause the problem ?

Try to install from terminal ?

I don't think there is currently Ubuntu package, there was previously but not current Ubuntu build
is why I say to try Debian package.
