Screw em. I use Jitsi.

My android phone says screw em also.
Recommended to me by another Linux user.

You can even stick with Jitsi. The WebRTC solution you can use without any account is here:

https://meet.jit.si/

There are many other WebRTC websites available. Another quite reliable one is Talky: https://talky.io/

Benefit with Jitsi and Appear is that they offer an Android app which makes it dead easy to connect even via phone.

Other interesting projects in my books:

* Wire
- now supports also Linux, even if it seems to be via electron, i.e. being a web wrapper
- It really looks good. I also like that you have the choice to sign up with email OR phone number
https://wire.com/

* Ring
- I have been watching for quite some time and they made quite some progress
- not as mature as Wire
- but more Linux supportive/ even centric. It's meanwhile a GNU project.
- great philosophy behind it
- can integrate an existing SIP account

Just like them to either buy or attempt to kill the competition
Recent reply from them about the email error.

I wonder if it may be no error, but they have realized the number of Linux users, and made a turn around. Thoughts on this ?
I'm keeping an eye on this developing situation, and will react with the best interests of the community in mind.
Thanks Jerry :)
