If i buy a mouse for my laptop are there things i need to look out for? Or can u just buy any mouse, wireless or not wireless and use it?
I have no idea, the one i got now is a old micrsoft mouse..abut 18 years old and starting to have some age problems so been thinking on buying a new one.
I haven't had any mouse issues with Linux Lite. Personally, I use a wired mouse. I'd be shocked if you had ANY mouse issues with Linux Lite that were USB based. I'd even bet many PS/2 based mice would work, but wwwhhhyyyy do that to yourself?

Thanks for your answer. Then i go and look for a mouse with a tail on it.
Never had a rodent problem with Linux Lite wired or wireless.
Did have a mouse problem with windows 7 the other Day.
The cursor was very slow.
I thought here we go .....B***** Windows again.
Turned out the mouse needed a new battery........ :-[ :-[
I was just about to say a wireless mouse would be ok. I just prefer to have one less battery to maintain, and one less attachment to not lose. So all of my mice have tails.

I think a wireless one wouldnt work here, before i realize that the batteries are the problem the mouse is already having free flying lessons ;D
Hi TMG1961,
Microsoft mouse user here, with Nano receiver in an older Compaq laptop, no problem whatsoever. Battery life is also pretty good. Microsoft and LL were made for each other, I guess...
Hello,
I use a logitech optical wired mouse
Bought a optical mouse this morning, couldm't be much cheaper, did cost 1,89 euro but its working. Thanks all for answering question.
Did you buy with a tail or without ?
I set the speed by Menu>Settings>Mouse and Touchpad>acceleration
I set to 9.8, it works excellent in Linux Lite 3.2
You are a very good shopper
I bought another optical mouse for raspberry pi zero, from mainland China it was 2.33 euro summer 2016.
