So far so good with 32. Have clicks selecting menu items. What is included? Didn't look at the package. Do 64 in a little while.

TC
It's a fork of this package - https://www.xfce-look.org/p/1187979/ adapted for LL.

The spec - http://0pointer.de/public/sound-naming-spec.html
Thanks Jerry. I'll take a look.

TC
No problem Smile
Okay ran through them all in 32bit. Everything that is there works. Typical of default sound themes the volume of the voice of battery level warning is too high compared to the clicks. Chuckled at the logout sound. Kinda scary. The one from 2.8 was nice enough. If we have a default sound theme will changes we make survive updates? Always bugged me 2.8 when the login logout sounds got over written.

Shouldn't be overwritten. The package you have is just a POC. I wanted to see how easy/hard it was to achieve.
A final package would:

- Allow the user to select what sounds they want enabled/disabled
- Enable or Disable the Sound theme
- Have more accurate sounds eg. for Trash being emptied, battery, device etc
- Normalized sound levels
Excellent.

sound card on this HP is: Intel NM10ICH7

Thanks. Think you have a keeper here.

Hi,

The most useful system sound I use all the time on Windows systems is the "ding" sound when turning the volume up or down from the speaker in the task bar. Can this package do that, it's the quickest way to check if sound/soundcard is functionnal IMHO.

Cheers!
64bit good to go Jerry.
Those of you wishing to test this, the sound files are located at: /usr/share/sounds/Lite/stereo  You can use VLC to listen to each one.
