Hi all,
I received an Google chrome for christmas from my son and daughter in law, which works fine with my Android phone on my tv, however I can not get it to work with my laptop with Chromium. The casting tab can not find my chromecast! What do I do wrong?
Any help would be fine.

Thanks,
Kabonkel Smile
Perhaps you need to use Google Chrome instead of Chromium.
Thanks Torreydale, I think you have a point, but where do I get that 64 bit version?
Google Chrome for 64bit can be found in "Lite Software"..
Type "Lite" from the menu..

32bit Chrome is no longer supported..

Chrome was taken out of Lite Software some time ago.
Oops, I apologize :-[... I got used to it being there, although Chromium is.
Synaptic would be my next suggestion..??
I checked in mine its in there :-[ unless I've installed by another means and I don't recall...
Ugh time for bed..
