Hi all,

We have added Pale Moon support to Lite Tweaks in Linux Lite 3.x Series.

New features:
  • Clean Pale Moon browser cache
  • Set Pale Moon as Default Web browser

Once the default browser has been set, all web related links should open by default with your preferred browser:

You are most welcome.
When is Pale Moon being added to Lite Software?
I don't believe it will be added. Lite Software offers an alternative browser already.
I'm sure most folks have already guessed this. It's for Linux Lite series 3 only. In series 2 if you remove Firefox, & install Pale moon, the default web browser option is blank. Just a quick word for laugh of the day: Someone has created a skin for Firefox to make it look exactly like Microsoft's Edge. The winter nights just fly by!

You're correct. I should have specified this.

Series 1.x, 2.x will receive security fixes only for our software. Our newest features appear in our newest Series Smile

Teamviewer, VirtualBox, Steam, Skype are all programs that are either cross-platform, familiar to our target audience or have large market share for their category. Suggestions for Lite Software should consider these factors.

A new update has been released to ensure that Preferred Applications are also updated accordingly, even for those browsers version that do not appear in the default dropdown menu:
