Hello everybody!

First, I'm from Berlin (Germany) and I'm not a native English speaker.

In 1983 I've bought my first computer, an Atari 800XL, and taught me a little bit of programming in BASIC. Therefore I've decided recently, when ever someone wants to little me by speaking to me from clever young "digital natives" from now on I will answer: "You mean the digital late ones?!"

Some years I've worked as bookseller, but I'm educated for many computer and software issues especially programming for web sites and all things which may be necessary to build a web site. I'm professional trained to use programs like Adobe Photoshop and many other multimedia programs.

In 2000 I was trained one year as an "Internet Programmer" this included 6 weeks 8 hours per day education in SUSE Linux. Since that time I've visited several other introduction courses about Linux and in 2013 I've gained a certification as "Professional Web Admin Grade I" by "Webmasters Europe", which focuses on administrating web servers with Debian Linux. Because I believe, that it's important to be good, nearly perfect, in basics, I've prepared for "LPI Essentials" exam from the "Linux Professional Institute" and I 've passed this test in 2014 (40 questions, 40 correct answers.)

I'm a contributor of Wikipedia and in German Wikipedia I'm a mentor, who sometimes helps newbies to write correct Wikipedia articles. I've introduced the German Wikipedia article on Linux Lite.

In few days I will begin a correspondence course, which prepares for LPIC I and LPIC II.

I've sometimes installed Linux on some private computers for some friends, who have had no experience with Linux, and that's the reason why I'm interested in Linux Lite, which looks smart.

Regards
