I'm relatively new to Linux and I would like to learn more about it. I've been using Linux lite since February of this year and haven't really dug into it. I use it almost entirely for gaming, and if I have a problem i just avoid it as much as i can. To be honest I'm very intimidated. Does anyone have any advice on where to start learning? Thank you for the help. (also new to forums so sorry if I do something wrong)
Well, there's always the Linux Lite Help Manual. Menu > Favorites > Help Manual.
Best Advice:
1. Willingness to learn to do or resolve.
2. Willingness to google or youtube the problem or what you want to do.
3. Don't be intimidated by the terminal, it simply provides the most powerful interface (that which allows you to do what you want to do) and is thus frequently used.
There is often a memorized command for what you want to do, the best way to remember is to use it as often as you need it.
You couldn't have picked a better version of linux to accomplish this.
Other distributions would crash too easily, and make you want to throw things.
