Family Samsung camera - unable to connect camera to LL2.8 pc.  Camera charged - cable OK as works on Win 7 machine.
Purpose to transfer photos from camera memory card to pc & then cloud.
Connection does not register at all on pc.
Anyway to "force" this via terminal?? or other.

With camera plugged in, what is output of:

SOLVED - It was a dodgy camera battery. Replaced latter and Samsung icon appears in desktop.
