Apologies for this absurdly simple question, I am sure I have either forgotten or am missing something ridiculously obvious, but I am getting ready to tinker with a few machines and I cannot find out which version of LL I have on them. System info and report give me core and Ubuntu information, but I can't find anything about LL version. What am I missing/forgetting? Thanks!
From terminal..

Code:
cat /etc/llver
This will output LL version

Or for additional info..
Code:
lsb_release -a
Ahh, I knew it would be easy. Thanks very much!

I agree. But some members complain about command line answers (which I do not understand why, myself) so

Ah, but when I do that I don't get Linux Lite info, I get Ubuntu version info. That was really why I posed the question in the first place.
Perhaps someone can now help me with the bureaucracy - I keep getting emails asking me to mark my solved questions as solved, but the attached instructions do not seem correct to me - there is no button to mark the topic solved in any of my entries here. I do see a solved button at the bottom, and I have hit that to mark this solved when I got the first answer. When I view this topic in my browser I see only a button asking me to toggle the case back to not being solved.

Yet apparently the case is not being marked as solved to the satisfaction of the forum system. I am baffled - can someone help with this?
You can click on Best Answer and/or prepend (SOLVED) to your subject line.
The instructions are very clear, scroll to the bottom - https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/intro...uidelines/
Yes, as I have tried to explain, I have read this several times but the forum does not look like that to me. There is no modify option in any of my posts, not the original either.
