I've been looking for a way to watch amazon movies on Linux for some time and now they have set their player HTML5 which should work as does YouTube. But Amazon tells me I don't have the right browser even though I have Firefox 42 which is in their list of supported browsers.
Use Google Chrome.  You can install it using Lite Software (Menu->System->Lite Software).

The following is taken from http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/d...=201422810

Computer Operating System

    Windows 7 or newer
    Mac OS 10.7 or newer
You can use Chrome to watch Amazon Video on Linux/UNIX operating systems (including Chrome OS).

If you insist on using Firefox for Amazon Video, you might want to consider this video by Matthew Moore to get the full HTML5 experience on Firefox.

[glow=red,2,300]UPDATE:  I tried the suggestions in the above video.  It gets full HTML5 to work, but it still doesn't run Amazon Video in Firefox.  Use Google Chrome.[/glow]

I already had those things done back when the youtube html5 player came out.
It's sad that I have to use another bowser just to use amazon.
I wonder why they only didn't get it working for FF on linux.
