Colin, I've noticed the past couple posts you've posted have cleared up...
Curious if you have been on the same system?..
I see you installed Seahorse, is this replacing the Keepboard(if I recall the name) application or ?

• Wondering if this is a contributing factor..
  
• Or if its the accidental touchpad that is inputting the code features unknowingly..
