Can I suggest the method I use to transfer between computer and phone, that is to use Dropbox, (or similar)
On the phone just send whatever you want to transfer, to your cloud account, then on your computer just drag and drop (or copy and paste) to where ever you want.
Vice versa the other way around.
Hope that doesn't confuse
Keith.

I know that/
How will you do when you need to copy a video (>5GB) from phone to PC or vice versa?
Upload then download, huh!

What I do with all videos is to upload them direct to Flickr, then watch them on any device or share them with family, doesn't take up space on your hard drive, a form of backup,
again only putting forward different options for anyone watching

Yeah, when I used to use AirDroid I found it to be the best of the bunch, thats why I recommended it.
But I havn't used it for ages, drifted into using Dropbox and Flickr, which suits me fine, each to their own

Hopefully it will be ported to Linux Lite.
