Did a fresh install of 2.6 but i am unable to change the language. I deleted all languages in language support, added dutch language and clicked apply system wide and restarted the laptop several times but everything remains in English.
did you follow the Language tutorial step-by-step as set out in the Help Manual? It mentions nothing about deleting languages.

I just did have a look at it and followed the steps in the help manual. And after adding english language and moving dutch to the top all is in dutch now.
Just curious, why doesnt it work with only 1 language..for me dutch.. in the list?
Quote:Upgrading:
For those on Linux Lite 2.4 do the following:
1) Menu, Favorites, Install Updates.
2) Menu, Settings, Lite Upgrade.
3) Follow the onscreen instructions, reboot when finished.
eeePC 901
Done that but Wi-Fi adapter not detected, dmesg indicates adapter unblocked in BIOS but not present on PCI. Adapter is Ralink Corp RT2790 802.11n
Had to revert to LL2.4 from image taken before upgrade.
Just upgraded from 2.4 > 2.6
HP Laptop TS-15 i5-4200u with WiFi
took about 4mins inc re-boot.
So far so good, inc WiFi connection
The upgrade from 2.4 to 2.6 should be relatively quick.

LL Team
Later today update
Just upgraded. I don't see any problems so far. Great job, LL team!
Did a clean install of 2.6 on this old lappy.
