I'm using LL 2.4. I installed brightside , but it won't launch. Anyone know how to fix this?
Hi,

Does this help.?
Have you seen this.?, you need to set it up to Launch

No, it won't even launch even though it's in my Menu.
O.K,

That's Funny, it say's there's no menu entry..!!!

Can't help further.. sorry... GL
Code:
locate brightside

in terminal for starters. it tell you where everyhting is installed. Or use the gui search find files in Linux Lite.
Which does the same thing.

Code:
which brightside

should show the launchcode path

Code:
brightside

should show errors on why it is not launching

Since you do not say what the menu entry says (text line launch code line). No further help can be given.

Here's what it says:

[jacatone@Dell-4550 ~]$ which brightside
/usr/bin/brightside
[jacatone@Dell-4550 ~]$ brightside

Daemon already running, exiting...

It just says "Run Brightside" in the Menu bar, then nothing happens.
