Can I use Lite Upgrade from the control Centre to move to 2.6, or must I wait until it is no longer a beta before this will work?

You have to wait for the final on September 1st.
Thanks for the swift reply.
I have been running 2.6 beta for a couple of days now and am happy to report no issues so far, good job developers.  Smile
Thanks avj, much appreciated Smile

Hi Jerry,

... Super Smile

Will do some testing and get back to you in case of any issues (hoping to be helpful).
What do you think about including a f.eg a default LL Conky script (+conky manager) ? Could open an internal contest for fun and choose best 3 ?
Thanks for including Systemback ... saved me quite a few times in the past ( I use it regularly to keep my Custom smoking gun LL iso ready on USB )

@cirimax, right from the first version of LL, I seriously considered including conky as a Sidebar (like in Windows) but eventually discarded the idea as we need to appear clean and light, less clutter. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Running the 2.6 Beta on my AMD laptop with zero issues.  I did load the proprietary video drivers to avoid tearing in VLC.  Here's the specs:
