Just a suggestion here, but if you haven't already you might try clearing the cache and deleting cookies. Sometimes the simple answers are the ones we overlook.

Youtube issues appear to be resolved for this video card Although only actioned for Chrome/chromium - problems seems to be resolved for Midori and Firefox on this computer at the same time??!! Not at all sure the meaning of this. When the problem suddenly recurred after upgrade to 2.6 ( see previous history) what could have triggerred this problem again. How could latering the settings of one browser effect the response of the others?? One standard Kernel for ll 2.6
