Will it be based on Ubuntu 14.02?
Or at least will it have a newer kernel (e.g. 3.16)?

Based on 14.04 LTS, and you can get one of our newer kernels here - https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/index...opic=474.0

It was submitted in our Artwork section.
