Is there software available for screen readers for the blind that is easy to install.  I'm trying to help a person out with this. Smile
I guess that there is an Assistive Technology app somewhere in the Menu , not sure , I removed lots of apps that I don t need on my system , someone else might give some info here .

Orca https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca
can work with Firefox, Thunderbird email, LibreOffice documents.

Speech-app is said to be easy to install (similar to Simon) -
