Merry Christmas, Orthodox Christians! Мир Божији, Христос се роди!

We in Serbia don't usually say "Merry Christmas". The traditional Serbian Christmas Greeting is "Мир Божији, Христос се роди", meaning "God's peace, Christ is born".
The person who's been greet answers with "Ваистину се роди", meaning "He trully is born".

Thanks. My Mom is Ukranian Orthodox. So I grew up a little schitzo between Orthodox/Catholic. They sent me to parochial school which was Catholic.



I have egg cartons full of these. From Ostrich eggs to you name it. Mom kicks in around Easter and starts mailing them to me.

You said Ostrich eggs? Those are huge. It takes a lot of time to paint them.
Your mother really loves you. You could paint an egg on the Easter and mail it to her.

I grew up on out in the country. Real Milk from the cow. Hand Made Buttermilk and Sour Cream.

My folks were from farms and knew farm life and lived it raising me.

I'm not much of an artist myself. I mean I can use GIMP and other software but in real life it doesn't go that easy.
Same goes for music. I really, really can't sing or use any instruments. Even the drums. (Ok, I can play the drums)
