I've created new builds for our port of the Whisker Menu for Linux Lite.

New features:

- New translations.
- Recently used can now be configured on Behavior tab (minimum of 5 items).
- Edit Profile added to Behavior tab (installs Mugshot, click on the image next to your name at the top of the Menu to configure).

Logout and Login to see new version.

Mugshot:

Mugshot allows you to change your name and picture that appear on the Login screen. This will create a menu entry in Menu, Settings, About Me. This program is a dependency of whiskemenu and therefore cannot be removed without breaking your system. If you don't want it to show on your Menu, then just hide it in Main Menu (Menu, Settings, Main Menu, Settings, About Me - untick)

Do:

Code:
sudo apt-get install whiskermenu

to get the new version of the Menu.
That's great Jerry.  I was thinking a couple days ago that mugshot would be a nice addition to LL.

Thanks for the constant improvements!

You're welcome Smile
Great addition! very cool!
Thanks Jerry.
Very usefull. Thanks Jerry.
Once you make the changes with mugshot this is what happens to /etc/passwd
Code:
sudo grep $USER /etc/passwd
misko:x:1000:1000:Misko,,none,none:/home/misko:/bin/bash
Nothing to worry about, mugshot writes none, none when you leave the 'Office Phone' and 'Home Phone' fields blank.
8) Thanks, Jerry. Installed this on my laptop (LL2/64), it's running prefectly.
I was somewhat concerned about including this update as the Menu is an important part of any OS, screw it up and you'll wind up pissing off a lot of people. These builds went through a lot of testing before being released, more so than many of the software we offer.

Good work on the testing. Just installed a second time (LL 2.2/64) and again no problems.
When running updates yesterday and today. It said it was holding back the Whisker menu. Why?
