Ah remember these when I was a young kid ! Was a change from some muscle cars ( the last ones I must say , stopped on 71-73 depending on some people )  that some had by then .

My sister-in-law had a recent-vintage Mercedes wagon. The auto trans died on it far too early. Haven't seen another new Mercedes there since...

lol , lovely new trannies , more gears , less space in it , so cheaper made right ! As with everything else in the new vehicules at a much higher price , pay more for less .

My SE R Altima s trannies pretty expensive to either fix or have another one put on it . It s why I have the oil changed often when I bouhgt it secondhand 4 years back .
