I am actually quad booting and installed quite a few additional software. LL 2.0 is working fine so I will stick with it.

If you've got VirtualBox installed, you can always check out LL 2.2 on that.  Then if you see a something new in there that you like, just install it (or make the necessary change) to your LL 2.0.
